Denlo Photography. One wedding - Two photographers

We're Denis & Lorraine O'Donovan and we are full time professional photographers based in Trim, Co. Meath but cover all areas of Ireland. We specialise in people photography so we love to photograph couples, babies, children and family portraits.
We take a very relaxed approach to our photography and we haven't lost the "fun" factor, so we still bring our stress free, happy go lucky attitude to your special day. We're easy to work with and will always do our best for you.
We cover Weddings, communions, confirmations, graduations, parties and other events.
Photo shoots can take place in your own home, in a studio setting or on location.

Denis still enjoys photography as a hobby and you can see some of his other work on his blog.

What you get from us on your wedding day

As a couple working together, we offer the most comprehensive coverage of your Wedding from start to finish, ensuring you receive the widest range of photos by having two photographers on your special day. Here is what you can expect from us.

Bride & Groom Preparations

Your wedding doesn't just start at the church. It begins early in the morning with the preparations at home or even earlier in the hairdressers. The advantage of booking Denlo Photography is that you get two photographers to cover everything. While Lorraine covers the Bridal party, Denis carries on to the Groom and between the two of us, we capture those precious moments - the build up, getting ready, pinning on the flowers, panic when the Groom can't find his shirt, buttoning up the dress. We capture you in your own home, surrounded by your bridesmaids or groomsmen, your close friends and neighbours, all before heading to the ceremony. These natural and informal shots are an important part of your special day.

The Ceremony

Denis will capture some relaxed and informal shots of the Groom and his party while waiting for the Bride to arrive. This will also give us the chance to get some detail shots of the church/venue decorations - the flowers, the candles, decorations which make lovely little cameos in your album. While we're waiting for the bride to arrive, Denis will capture those precious moments as the Groom nervously looks round or the Best Man cracks a joke. Meanwhile, Lorraine will capture the arrival and entrance of the Bridal Party. As the Bride walks up the aisle, we will have one photographer in front on the altar and one behind so every angle is covered. We'll make sure to get those big shots - the handover, the rings, the kiss, lighting the candles and signing the register. If it is a Civil Ceremony, we will capture your personal pledges to each other. After the ceremony is usually a good time for the group and family shots.

Special Locations

If you have a special location you'd like to visit on the way to your reception, please remember to allow enough time in your schedule. Here in Trim we are blessed with gorgeous locations for photographs such as Trim Castle or Bective Abbey so you need to allow enough time to get there and back and allow at least an hour for photos and some fun.

Wedding Reception

After you've arrived at your hotel or venue and greeted your guests, we'll head out to the gardens or maybe the Bridal Suite, for some formal shots of the Bridal Party and family. Then it's the cutting of the cake, the speeches and finally your first dance as a married couple. We don't just stop at the first dance though. We'll stay until all your guests are up dancing and capture them strutting their stuff for the first few songs. We will also capture lots of detail shots at the reception - the tables, the floral arrangements, the place settings and decorations which are really great detail photos in an album.
